The Polar Music Prize is an international music prize celebrating the power and importance of music since 1992. It is awarded to individuals, groups and institutions in recognition of exceptional achievements.
The Laureate list speaks for itself. I love The Tallest Man on Earth but I was extremely disappointed with this. Completely out of place in this kind of ensemble and it just doesn’t jive. He is not the kind of artist that sings alongside a big band like that and it just drowns out all the intensity he normally brings. There’s no harmony between band and singer. I don’t think he deserve ill will or judgement it, I doubt he even had much say.
